This direct to gas regulator GAS IT vapour long body filter has been designed to fit directly to your bulkhead mounted gas regulator via the W20 pigtail fitting. Once fitted you can then connect your existing W20 gas rubber pigtail to the filter and you will protect the regulator and everything down stream of it from dirty, oily LPG gas.
Should you have space issues above your bulkhead regulator, which will make mounting the GAS IT direct to regulator vapour filter hard, we do sell a simple to use W20 elbow which will allow the vapour filter to come out from the side of your regulator rather than stick on the top. (see options at section at the side of this GAS IT filter picture)
If you have 2 gas bottles you have 2 options with regards filtration.
1) To protect the Auto change over (GAS IT Part number GI-REG-009) or our Semi Automatic tee (GAS IT Part number GI-ACCS-076) plus the regulator then you will need to buy 2 of these GAS IT filters - one for each pigtail connection, so these 2 filters will filter gas leaving both bottles and stop the dirt and oils from entering the auto change over or semi automatic tee.
2) If you are only interested in protecting the regulator from dirt and oils and not the Auto change over device (GAS IT Part number GI-REG-009) or Semi Automatic tee (GAS IT Part number GI-ACCS-076) then you will only need to buy one GAS IT filter and fit it between the regulator and Auto Change over or Semi Automatic Tee piece. Then both of your pigtails from each bottle will connect to the change over device, the filter will go after the change over device and onto the regulator.
