This hose can be used for 2 applications.
It can be used by an gas engineer who fits vehicle mounted Gas tanks or gas bottles who will use it as a means of doing a vapour gas check without having to leave their site prior to actually going to filling up the gas tank or gas bottle with liquid Autogas / LPG at a forcourt.
Its second use is when traveling anywhere in the world and for some unforeseen reason you are unable to fill up your self refillable gas tank, gas bottle or gas cylinder system on your motorhome, Campervan, panel van and caravan for example, our GAS IT reserve hose UK 21.8LH system allows you to connect any gas bottle with a 21.8LH outlet, ( Many European bottles with 21.8LH outlet taps, GAS IT, Gaslow, Alugas and more ) directly to your vehicle's mounted UK bayonet Autogas / LPG fill point.
Its use is simple. Connect the big knurled brass end of your 800mm long reserve hose into the internal thread of your Autogas fillpoint and then connect the bottle end to your gas bottle. Check all are tight and then turn on the gas bottle and this will then run your appliances using vapour gas in the same way as a normal gas bottle will. We always recommend you use certified leak detection spray on all the connections you have made to make sure there are no gas leaks. This hose will not fill your internal gas bottles with Liquid LPG ( like when you refill them at the pumps ) it is simply designed to allow you to run the internal appliances on vapour gas from an external gas bottle to check for leaks or as a reserve system
We do supply a UK POL version of this hose which is listed on the GAS IT webshop which will work with Calor, Flogas and any other gas bottle bottle with the UK POL propane outlet.
The Hose length is 800mm, over all length ( end of fitting to end of fitting is 910mm)
